Privacy Policy — BGM Publisher
Last updated: 27 July 2026
BGM Publisher (“the Service”) is a private, single-operator tool run by Ariyan Sharifi to generate and publish background-music compilations to the YouTube channel @BackGroundMusic-x9u. It is not offered to the public and has no user accounts other than its single administrator. What the Service does is described on the home page.
Use of YouTube API Services
The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What the Service accesses and stores
Acting only on the authorization granted by its administrator, the Service:
- reads the authorized channel’s identity (channel ID and title) to confirm it is uploading to the intended channel;
- uploads videos, sets thumbnails, and creates or updates playlists on that channel;
- reads the processing status and visibility of videos it uploaded.
It stores, on a private server controlled by Ariyan Sharifi:
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for the authorized Google account;
- identifiers and metadata of content it created — video IDs, playlist IDs, titles, descriptions, tags, upload timestamps and processing state;
- its own generation records: prompts, provider operation identifiers, checksums and audit logs.
It does not access viewer data, analytics, comments, subscriber information, or any content it did not itself upload.
How information is used and shared
Information is used solely to schedule, generate, publish and verify the administrator’s own uploads. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties. Data leaves the server only as calls to:
- Google and YouTube APIs, to perform the uploads described above;
- the configured AI generation providers, which receive the Service’s own text prompts and return generated audio and images. No YouTube user data is sent to those providers.
Retention and deletion
Tokens are retained until access is revoked or the administrator deletes them. Large media files are deleted from the server after an upload is verified. Records of what was published are retained for operational history.
Revoking access
The authorized Google account’s access can be revoked at any time at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions or myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation stops all further uploads immediately.
